Weighing only 12 lbs, it is the longest & lightest pole available. It is the most rigid pole on the market. To reduce the length, the lower two sections have a cast aluminum telescopic lock so the pole can be quickly lowered or extended 6'. The sections in the center can be added or removed by unscrewing two screws with wing nuts in each joint.
